Blayne Taylor participated in the College Gridiron Showcase in January, meeting with 20 NFL teams and earning an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game, where he'll wear number 81 for the West squad. He joins standout players like Shedeur Sanders and Tahj Brooks. In 2024, Taylor helped lead Abilene Christian to its first NCAA Division I conference title and an FCS playoff win, finishing the season with 73 catches for 1,117 yards and eight touchdowns. His performance earned him second team All-UAC honors and cemented his place in ACU history. He's the second Wildcat to play in the Shrine Game, following Danieal Manning in 2006.
