Abilene Christian University has been awarded Research 2 status in the latest Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. This designation places ACU among the top research institutions in the country, recognized for significant research expenditures and the production of doctoral degrees. Impressively, ACU is one of only two universities within the 120-member Council for Christian Colleges and Universities to achieve either R2 or R1 status.

To promote this major milestone, we were tasked with producing a high-impact video campaign in just four weeks. The goal was to convey the significance of R2 status not only to internal stakeholders but also to prospective students, faculty, and donors. From concept development and scripting to filming, editing, and final delivery, the project required tight coordination across departments and a creative approach that balanced storytelling with institutional branding.
